Badhani Technologies (“we”, “us”) operates the Newspaper Maker (newspapermaker.in) website and software. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the service and what we do with it. By using the service, you agree to this policy.

• Account details: name, email, mobile number and newspaper or organisation name.
• Your content: pages, stories, photos, logos and templates you create in the editor.
• Payment details: plan, payment status and transaction ID. We do not store card, UPI or bank details — these are handled directly by an RBI-compliant payment gateway.
• Technical details: IP address, browser type, login times and usage logs.

How we use it

• To create your account, log you in and run the service.
• For payments, bills and GST invoices.
• For support, service notices and important updates.
• For security, fraud prevention and improving the service.

We do not sell your information or rent it out for advertising.

Your content

The stories, photos and designs you create in the editor belong to you. We access them only to provide the service (saving, displaying and producing the PDF) and, at your request, for support.

Sharing information

We share information only in these cases:

• With trusted partners that help run the service — such as server and hosting providers, email services and payment gateways — and only as much as their job needs.
• When required by law, a court or a government authority.

Cookies

We use essential cookies and browser storage to keep you logged in and to remember your preferences (such as whether a panel is open or closed). You can turn off cookies in your browser, but some features will then not work properly.

Security and retention

Data is sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection and kept on secure servers. After an account is closed, its content is deleted within 30 days; billing records are kept for as long as the law requires.

Your rights

Children

This service is meant for individuals over 18 and for organisations. We do not knowingly collect information about children.
